Production orders are launched, bar-coded, tracked and produced with the help of the DISPO module. This module, based on information provided by MAIS, calculates all reservations of materials and capacities, schedules all activities and provides availability-data based on expected quantities. DISPO guarantees total flexibility in terms of methods used, such as forward or backward scheduling, fixed or rate-based outputs, overlapping or parallel operations, operations in series, and optional/mandatory shop floor feedback, creating work orders based on finite or infinite capacity. DISPO is particularly suited for managing orders involving external, multi-article or multi-batch production. It calculates material requirements accounting for extension/contraction and in-process losses. DISPO can accurately estimate processing times based on job order quantity, set-up times, machine efficiency, average run lengths, waste, extension/contraction and reprocessing. An important feature of this module is its compatibility with most monitoring and control systems available today.

Fabric Inspection |
CATS -Computer Aided Textile Supervision- is a module that integrates production and inventory systems with greige and finished fabric inspection data. CATS catalogues defects, including length defects, recording length and width coordinates ranking them by severity according to customer defined parameters. It provides real-time quality evaluation based on defect count or points, awarding credits where necessary. CATS contributes substantially in maximizing both production quantity and quality thanks to defect analysis and prevention, calculating online cut plans based on defect maps and specific customer requirements, guaranteeing optimized fabric utilization.

To keep all available manufacturing resources under control, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity, datatex has developed CAMS -Computer Aided Machine Supervisor- a comprehensive module which allows constant monitoring of machines, controlling job progress status and queuing management. CAMS collects data on stop-production events, speed, efficiency, technical parameters, produced quantity and user defined technical data.
It automatically updates production orders progress on-line and provides detailed productivity analysis and variance alerts.
