The BASE module represents the core of the TIM system. It is used to set the structure that will define system functions, and data handling methods. The system can be easily configured or customized through standard tables. These can be used to define functional paths and to set the parameters for system operations, such as item numbering structures, product structures, production order variables order templates and warehouse procedure definition, as well as unit of measure and currency. In addition, through BASE, users can add customized fields through the use of technical data. BASE manages and retrieves all data relevant to ISO certifications and best practice implementation.

The MAIS module is used to describe and manage the operations’ technical data (work centers, processes, recipes, print designs, weave patterns, thermal cycles, etc.). The information stored in this module helps to define and manage product costs, raw material requirements, labor and overhead consumption as well as production capacity needs.
The process flows stored in MAIS are the most seamless representation of a combined bill of material and routing available today. These flows enable real-time material and capacity checking.
